Félix Cárdenas

Félix Rafael Cárdenas Ravalo (* November 24, 1972 in Encino Santander) is a Colombian cyclist.

Career

Felix Cardenas began his career in 2000 with the Spanish cycling team Kelme. In his second year he celebrated his biggest success, a stage win in the Tour de France. It was his first participation, which he finished on the 64th place overall. Better he cut from 2003 at the Vuelta a España. Meanwhile, driving for Café Baque he won a stage, the overall mountains classification and finished eighth in the final standings. A year later he repeated the stage win and also the mountains classification secured again.

Since 2005, Cardenas riding for the British Professional Continental team Barloworld. Here he could win the Tour of Japan 2005. In 2006 he secured a stage in the Brixia Tour and won only a few days later, the Spanish -day race Prueba Villafranca de Ordizia.

In the 2007 Tour de France he came to the team Barloworld driving on the 106th place in Paris.
