Felix Jackson
Felix Jackson ( born June 5, 1902 in Hamburg, † December 4, 1992 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles; actually Felix Joachimson ) was a German - American author, screenwriter and film producer.
Life
Joachimson began his career in the early 1930s. He wrote the screenplays for a number of filmed entertainment, including Laughing heirs, Csibi, the brat, Small mom and together with Bruce Manning consultation for Love ( Appointment for Love ). After the seizure of power by the National Socialists in Germany Joachimson worked mainly for Austro-Hungarian co-production. Also known as Felix Jackson, he remained the genre of movie entertainment faithful. Jackson was also active as a film and later television producer.
In 1956 he published the autobiographical novel, So Help Me God: A Novel of his experiences in Nazi Germany. In German, he appeared only in 1993 in Alamo Verlag under the title Berlin, May 1933.
He was for a time married to the actress Deanna Durbin.
