Felix McGrath

Felix McGrath ( born March 13, 1963 in Princeton, New Jersey ) is a former American alpine skier. McGrath was in the late 1980s to the best slalom racers in the world. In his home country he was elected in 1988 and 1989 skiers of the year.

McGrath was from 1982 to 1991, the U.S. ski team. In his career, he was a total of four times U.S. champion in slalom and giant slalom. In the seasons 1984/85 and 1987/88, he won the overall and slalom standings of the Nor- Am Cup, 1987/88 and the giant slalom standings. His first World Cup points he won in March 1985. Overall, he was also placed in the top ten twelve times. His best World Cup result was a second place finish in the slalom at Åre in March 1988. In the overall standings of the Slalom World Cup was in the 1987/88 season of third parties.

McGrath took part in the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, where he finished 13th in the giant slalom. His best finish at a World Cup is the 10th place in the slalom at the World Championships 1987 in Crans Montana.

Since ending his active career, McGrath works as a trainer.
