Felix-Raymond-Marie Rouleau

Felix -Raymond -Marie Rouleau Cardinal OP ( born April 14, 1866 in Isle- Verte, Canada, † May 31, 1931 in Quebec City ) was Archbishop of Quebec.

Life

Felix -Raymond -Marie Rouleau resigned after his schooling in the Dominican Order and studied in various houses of the Order of the subjects philosophy and Catholic theology. In 1892 he received the sacrament of Holy Orders and was then Professor of the College of the Dominicans in Ottawa, which he ran for several years as rector. From 1919 to 1923 he was Provincial of the Dominican Province of Canada.

1923 Pope Pius XI appointed him. Bishop of Valleyfield and 1926 as Archbishop of Quebec. The Episcopal ordination on May 22, 1923 He received his Pietro di Maria, Apostolic Delegate to Canada. On 19 December 1927, he took it as a cardinal priest with the titular church of San Pietro in Montorio on the College of Cardinals.

Felix -Raymond -Marie Rouleau died on 31 May 1931 in Quebec and was buried in the local cathedral.
