Ferdi Elmas

Ferdi Elmas (born 13 February 1985 in Amsterdam, Netherlands) is a Turkish football player of Galatasaray.

Career

Ferdi Elmas completed his youth career at Ajax Amsterdam. RKC Waalwijk signed him for the youth team and made ​​his professional debut was in 2005. Turkish first division side Çaykur Rizespor committed Ferdi in the following season. For Çaykur Rizespor he played for two years. His first goal for Rize made ​​Elmas against Fenerbahce. In preparation for the 2007/ 08 season Elmas moved on loan to the capital to Ankaraspor and returned in the second half back to Çaykur Rizespor.

In Çaykur Rizespor and Ankaraspor, he plays in midfield. Despite his many matches he has only played a few minutes of the game, which identifies him as a reserve player.

For the season 2008/ 09 changed Elmas for traditional club Galatasaray. At Galatasaray Ferdi played no games in the league and therefore his contract was dissolved at the end of the season.
