Fernand Augereau

Fernand Alfred Désiré Augereau ( born November 23, 1882 in Naintré; † July 26, 1958 in Combrée ) was a French cyclist.

His career began Augereau in 1902 as a single participant with the launch of the one-day race Paris - Rennes, where he finished seventh. In 1903 he competed in the Tour de France in team La Française. The first stages could Augereau, who played the cycle race with start number 039, fourth (1st and 5th stage ), eight ( Stage 2 ) and twelfth (3rd and 4th stage ) finish. With his second place on the final stage, he secured with a total time of just over 99 hours in third place in the overall standings of the first tour. In 1904 won Augereau, again starting as individual participants, the one-day races Bordeaux - Paris. In 1911, Augereau ended his career as a professional cyclist.
