Fernanda Torres

Fernanda Pinheiro Monteiro Torres ( born September 15, 1965 in Rio de Janeiro) is a Brazilian actress.

Life

Fernanda Torres is the daughter of Oscar-nominated actress Fernanda Montenegro and the film director Fernando Torres. She is married to the film producer and director Andrucha Waddington, with whom she 2005 film Casa de Areia turned, in which she and her mother stood together in front of the camera. The film was awarded at the 2006 Sundance Film Festival and was shown in Germany at the Berlinale 2006. She celebrated her greatest international success, however, already 20 years ago when she as a young actress at the International Film Festival of Cannes 1986 Best Actor Award for the film Eu Vou Te Amar Be Que ( Love Me Forever or Never ) won.
