Fernando Carlos Maletti

Fernando Carlos Maletti (born 17 March 1949 in Buenos Aires, Argentina) is a bishop of Merlo - Moreno.

Life

Fernando Carlos Maletti received on 24 November 1973, the sacrament of Holy Orders.

On 20 July 2001 John Paul II appointed him Bishop of San Carlos de Bariloche. The Archbishop of Buenos Aires, Jorge Mario Cardinal Bergoglio SJ, donated to him on 18 September of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Bishop of Avellaneda - Lanús, Rubén Oscar Frassia, Bishop of San Martín, Raúl Omar Rossi, and the auxiliary bishops in Buenos Aires, Jorge Eduardo Lozano and Horacio Ernesto Benites Astoul.

Pope Francis appointed him on May 6, 2013 as Bishop of Merlo - Moreno. The inauguration took place on 9 June of the same year.
