Fernando Isern

Fernando Isern ( born September 22, 1958 in Havana, Cuba) is Bishop Emeritus of Pueblo.

Life

Fernando Isern received on 16 April 1993, the sacrament of Holy Orders for the Archdiocese of Miami.

On 15 October 2009 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him. Bishop of Pueblo. The Archbishop of Denver, Charles Chaput, OFM Cap Joseph, donated to him on 10 December of the same year, the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were the Archbishop of Miami, John Favalora, and the Bishop Emeritus of Pueblo, Arthur Nicholas Tafoya.

Pope Francis took on June 13, 2013, his resignation due to illness.
