Ferran MartÃnez
Ferran Martínez [ fə'ran maɾ'tineθ ] ( born April 25, 1968 in Barcelona, Catalonia ) is a former Spanish professional basketball player who played at a height of 2.12 m on the position of the center.
Ferran Martínez began his professional career in 1985 at FC Barcelona and played until his retirement in late 2002 also with other top teams like Joventut Badalona or de Panathinaikos Athens. With a total of 14 titles gained Martínez is one of the most successful players of Spain. What stands out in Martínez is the fact of the Intercontinental Cup to have with the European Champion Clubs 'Cup, European Cup Winners' Cup and the Korac Cup and won in his career all discharged at that time international competitions for club teams. With seven gained Spanish championships, he is also one of the most successful of his country.
With the Spanish national team Martínez came between 1987 and 1997 to 156 games and thus is ranked 13 of the player with the highest stakes.
