Feštetić Castle

The Festetic Castle (Croatian: Dvorac Festetic or Kastel Festetic ) is located in northern Croatia in the village Pribislavec in Čakovec.

Bears the name of the castle thanks to the noble family Festetic whose members possessed it from 1791 to 1923. Previous owners of the castle were, among others, the princes of Zrinski.

The castle was surrounded by a beautiful park with gardens and chapel in the 16th and 17th centuries. Later it was rebuilt several times and renewed, for example around 1870 by Count Juraj Festetic in neo-Gothic style.

Since the Second World War, the plant is used in the Međimurje County as a local primary school.
