Festival de Gramado

The Film Festival of Gramado (Portuguese: Festival de Cinema de Gramado Festival de Gramado or ) is a film festival that takes place in the southern Brazilian city of Gramado since 1973 every year. The idea of ​​organizing a film festival, created in 1969 after a film actor during the " Festa das Hortênsias " ( hydrangea festival). Because of the difficulties in which was the Brazilian film industry at the time, in addition to Brazilian productions, other Latin American films will be admitted since 1992.

The main venue of the festival is the Palácio dos Festivais Gramado.
