Fiachra Ó Ceallaigh

Fiachra Ó Ceallaigh OFM ( born August 18, 1933, Lios Uí Chathasaigh ) is a retired auxiliary bishop in Dublin.

Life

Fiachra Ó Ceallaigh joined the Congregation of the Franciscan and received on 2 July 1961, the ordination. John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop on 7 June 1994 in Dublin and Titular Bishop of Tres Tabernae.

The Archbishop of Dublin, Desmond Connell, consecrated him on 17 September of the same year the bishop; Co-consecrators were Emanuele Gerada, Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland, and Desmond A. Williams, Auxiliary Bishop of Dublin.
