Fiete Sykora

Fiete Sykora ( born September 16, 1982 in Wismar ) is a German football player.

Career

Fiete Sykora began in his hometown at TSG Wismar on with playing football. In this club his father Klaus -Dieter Sykora already had played in the DDR -Liga. In 2000 he moved into the A- youth team of Hansa Rostock. As of the 2001 /02 season he was there for the second team squad. With Hansa Rostock II he played four years in the NOFV- Oberliga Nord and was in season 2004/ 05 Master of NOFV- Oberliga Nord. For the season 2005/ 06 he moved to the then third division FC Carl Zeiss Jena. By Jena in 2006, he managed to carve out to the 2nd Bundesliga, where he was involved with nine goals in 27 missions. In the 2007 /08 season he played for second division side FC Erzgebirge Aue, with whom he had signed a two -year contract. Become free transfer relegation of FC Erzgebirge Aue in the newly formed third division, Sykora signed a one-year contract plus option for VfL Osnabrück, where already his team mate Tom Geissler and René Trehkopf were changed. There he stood, although 28 times on the court, but played only nine times over 90 minutes and scored four goals.

For the 2009/10 season Sykora returns to the third division Movers Holstein Kiel, where he had initially signed a two-year contract until 2011. He later received a contract until 2015.

Fiete Sykora is the former DDR - Oberliga player 's nephew and GDR youth international's Peter Sykora.
