Fifth Third Bank

Fifth Third Bank ( 5/3 Bank ) is a U.S. regional bank headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Bank has been listed in most states in the eastern U.S. branches and is listed on NASDAQ.

History and name

The history of the Fifth Third Bank dates back to 17 June 1858, when the "Bank of the Ohio Valley " opened in Cincinnati, which was acquired five years later by the younger "The Third National Bank".

On June 1, 1908, then joined the two banks "The Fifth National Bank" and "The Third National Bank", the " Fifth Third National Bank of Cincinnati " together. The name has been changed several times in the following, to the bank then received its present name " Fifth Third Bank" on 24 March 1969.
