Filip Tapalović

Filip Tapalovic ( born October 22, 1976 in Gelsenkirchen ) is a retired Croatian football player.

Club career

Tapalovic began his career at Fortuna Gelsenkirchen. Later he moved to the youth team of FC Schalke 04 In 1995 he moved to VfL Bochum. In 1997 he returned to FC Schalke 04. After two years he moved to TSV 1860 Munich. From 2002 to 2005 Tapalovic played back at VfL Bochum. In the season 2005/ 06 he played at FC Wacker Tirol in Austria. After the 2005/ 06 season he was half a year without a club. In January 2007, he signed with FC Carl Zeiss Jena a contract until 2008. During the season 2008/ 09 he played for the Croatian HNK Rijeka and found no new club. A trial at the 1860 Munich was not successful. He then ended his career.

In the 3-1 victory of Jena around 1860 Munich on 23 February 2007 Tapalovic scored his first goal in the 2nd league. It was subsequently chosen by the viewers of the ARD sports show to the gate of the week.

National

Tapalovic played 1996/97 three times in the Croatian U-21 team. In qualifying for the U-21 European Championship 1998, he was employed in the two matches against Greece and in the home match against Denmark. He was three times appointed in the senior team. On 8 May 2002 he made ​​in Pecs Hungary against his first game for Croatia. Two more missions against Wales and the European Championship qualifier against Estonia was followed in the same year.

Coach

Early 2013 was Tapalovic who owns the A license, assistant coach for the A- youth of the TSV 1860 München. In the summer of 2013 he was mainly responsible for the B- youth that plays in the U-17 league.

Private

Filip is the brother of Toni Tapalovic, who was among other things the Bundesliga teams of FC Schalke 04 and VfL Bochum as a goalkeeper, and since the 2011/12 season working as a goalkeeping coach at Bayern Munich.
