Filippo di Colloredo-Mels

Fra ' Philipp von Colloredo- Mels (* November 28, 1778 in Udine, Venetian Republic, † October 9, 1864 in Recanati, Kingdom of Italy) was professed of Honour and Devotion Grand Cross - Bailli of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta and led instead of a Grand Master of 1845 to his death as governor ( Lieutenant ) of the Order. Philipp von Colloredo- Mels came from a native of Friuli noble family Colloredo- Waldsee - Mels and has already started at the age of one year in the Order of Malta. He put his perpetual vows in 1840 and became the professed knights and monks within the meaning of Canon Law.
