Filippo Reef

The Filippo Reef (English Filippo Reef ) is a coral reef, which is located 450 kilometers east of Starbuck Iceland, and is one of the Zentralpolynesischen Sporades.

The exact coordinates are 05 ° 30 ' S, 151 ° 50 ' W. The reef is in shallow water. The water depth is estimated to be only 0.6 m to 0.9 m. The reef has a diameter ( from northwest to southeast ) of 1.6 km. It was discovered by the crew of the Italian Filippo Bark on June 28 in 1886 and named after this.
