Fillmore is a city and the county seat of Millard County, Utah.

History
Fillmore was founded as the new capital of the State of Deseret in 1851 by Brigham Young and named after the 13th President of the United States Millard Fillmore. Until 1858 Fillmore was the capital of the Utah Territory, then the seat of government was re- routed back to Salt Lake City. From the spacious planned government buildings ( Territorial Statehouse ) A side wing was completed. This still exists today and houses a museum.
