Finitribe

Finitribe was a dance music band from Edinburgh, Scotland.

Occupation

David Miller and Philip Pinsky remained constant band members, while Chris Connelly (1987-1993 at Revolting Cocks and Ministry in 1988-1990 ) over time got out of the band, Simon McGlynn, Andy McGregor, Thomas McGregor and John Vick.

Band name

The band's name derives from finny tribe Finitribe, a term of the Rosicrucians from fish. Sometimes the name of the band also wrote Fini Tribe.

Band History

The roots of Finitribe by mid -1980 in the predecessor band Gallery Macabre, an experimental guitar band. Later she became a sampling -based dance music band and founded the label Finiflex. Their most successful hits were the dance numbers, " Detestimony ", " 101 " and " Forever Green ". The band played in 1985, 1989 and 1998 sessions for John Peel. The dissolution of the band came in 2002 Despite resolution yet published two compilations.; Then Again (2004) and This Is Electronic Body Music ( 2005).
