The parliamentary election in Finland in 1933 (Finnish Eduskuntavaalit 1933; Swedish Riksdagsvalet 1933) was held from July 3, 1933 from 1. It was the elections to the 15th Parliament of Finland.

The election took place at a domestic political irritated time. Founded in 1932 supporters of the right Lapua movement, the Patriotic People's Movement, in 1933 for the first time took part in an electoral alliance with the Coalition Party in the election. Toivo Kivimäki ( Progress Party ), who was Prime Minister of Finland since 1932 December 14, was considered a fighter wing groups. In April 1933, the so-called Aufwiegelungsgesetz was passed that forbade the wearing of uniforms and party militarily organized associations banned.

The Social Democrats were able to increase their earnings from the 1930 election clearly. The Coalition Party, which contested an alliance with a Patriotic People's Movement had to suffer heavy losses. Also, the Land League lost votes.

The turnout was 62.6 %, which is 3.7 percentage points higher than the turnout at the last parliamentary election, 1930.

After the election

The government Toivo Kivimäkis remained in office. This left the coalition of the Progressive Party, Sweden and Landbund receive.
