Fire Party

Fire Party, was an existing 1986-1990 emocore band that consisted only of women.

History

At the turn of 1986, the four women formed their band, which remains one of the few female bands in the hardcore punk. In addition, the drummer Nicky Thomas was one of the few African-American women in the hardcore punk / punk scene.

In a text published at Dischord Records states:

1988, the same year by their first EP was released, the band went on a European tour together with Scream, in which she also played four concerts with That Petrol Emotion in the UK. This was followed by a U.S. tour.

In spring 1990 the band finally broke up. Before - 1989 - Dischord Records released nor the complete discography of the band.
