Fire roll ( Firewalker ) is an American adventure comedy from 1986 with combat sports and outdoor elements. It was directed by J. Lee Thompson. The film was produced by Cannon Films.

Action

The fellow adventurers "Max Donigan " and " Leo Porter" are in a dive of a stranger who introduces himself as " Patricia Goodwin ", hired to look with her in South America to an Aztec treasure. It proves, however, a fatal coincidence that there is also a shaman named " El Coyote " interested in the treasure because he wants with evil intentions in the footsteps of his grandfather's " barrage " ( Firewalker ) occur. Fortunately, the heroes receive the support of the old medicine man "Tall Eagle".

Background

The production cost of the film amounted to about 9 million U.S. dollars. The shooting took place in Mexico completely.

The original cut amounted to a length of more than 120 minutes, but were truncated to the instructions of the producer Menahem Golan to just over 100 minutes. At the U.S. box office, the film took about 12 million U.S. dollars.
