The daughter of the president: In mortal danger is a thriller directed by Armand Mastroianni from the year 1999.

Action

Alex McGregor renders services as an agent of the United States Secret Service. They defeated during a party an attack on the U.S. President Jonathan Hayes. Alex is rewarded by taking on the management of the team that protects the president's daughter Jess.

Jess takes part in a rafting tour. Terrorists kidnap the girl. Alex fights against the terrorists who defeated them at the end.

Reviews

TV Today described the act as " clear " in the negative sense. The magazine wrote that the film is still in the U.S. a "Tele- hit" was.

TV Movie described the film as " predictable and unoriginal ".

The lexicon of international film wrote that the film did not " sonderliche ambitions " and " reel from the genre standard ." The film was accused of error of dramaturgy.

Comments

After the first film was in 2000, the sequel " First Target - attack on the president " was shot with Daryl Hannah in the role of Personenschützerin. In 2002 followed " First Shot - The assassination ", this time again with Mariel Hemingway in the starring role.

The screenwriters Chad and Carey Hayes used to own surname as the surname of the president's family.
