The First Union 400 was a race in the NASCAR Winston Cup, which was held at the North Wilkesboro Speedway. It took place from 1951 to 1996 the end of March or beginning of April. The 1996 season was the last in which the race was held after the two races from North Wilkesboro Speedway deducted and other routes were allocated. After the race in the fall, the Tyson Holly Farms 400, the circuit was closed.
