Five Pagoda Temple (Hohhot)

The Five Pagoda Temple (Chinese: Wuta si五塔寺) with the so-called " diamond throne - sarira pagoda " ( Jingang zuo sheli Baota金刚 座 舍利 宝塔; engl Jingang -based Dagoba / sarira pagoda on Vajrasana at Cideng Temple. ) is a purpose-built 1727-1732 Buddhist temple dating from the Qing Dynasty in the district Yuquan Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia in the People's Republic of China. He is also known by its former name Cideng Temple ( Cideng si慈 灯 寺) is known, and since 1988 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 3-158 ).

In the Indian diamond throne pagoda - style five smaller pagodas are located on a square base, which is known as the "Diamond Throne " ( Vajrasana ).
