Fixkes

Fixkes is a six-member Belgian band. It was founded in November 2005 by two brothers, Sam and Jan Valkenborgh in Stabroek. The band mixes in their songs acoustic pop music with Rapelementen.

After the band had received a recording contract with the label Excelsior Recordings Nederlandse early 2007, was released in February 2007 under the title Kvraagetaan the debut single. It developed into one of the most successful songs of the Belgian pop history. In early March the song debuted at # 1 on the Flemish- Belgian charts Ultratop 50 and holds there for 16 weeks. This recording is the single, which was the longest in the history of the Belgian charts at the top.
