Flexor digiti minimi brevis muscle (hand)

The flexor digiti minimi brevis (Latin for " short Kleinfingerbeuger ") is a skeletal muscle and the muscles of the little finger ( hypothenar ) hand. It originates at the flexor retinaculum and hamate bone and attaches to the inside of the base of the first member of the little finger. The flexor digiti minimi brevis flexes the first member of the little finger ( flexion at the metacarpophalangeal joint).
