Flockina von Platen

Flockina ( born 14 May 1905 in Stolp, † November 26, 1984 in Berlin) was a German actress von Platen.

Life

After the completion of the Lyceum Flockina took von Platen acting classes with Ilka Gruening and Polite Lucie. In 1927, she was with the piece Theo does everything her debut as a theater actress at the Berlin Barnowsky stages, where she also received her first engagement. This was followed by engagements at other theaters in Berlin ( Tribune, Volksbühne ) and several South American tours between 1927 and 1933.

As early as 1919 gave Flockina von Platen in the tendentious crime film The Dagger of Malays her feature film debut. Your actual movie career did not start until twelve years later with Hans Steinhoff's racing thriller The paw. She played alongside Heinz Rühmann in the comedy spanner in the works, in addition to Lilian Harvey in Robert Siodmak's comedy Quick, Douglas Sirk's romance in The Court concert, in the historical drama The Great King, as well as in Hans Steinhoff's Nazi propaganda film Ohm Krüger.
