Florence Meyer

Florence Meyer ( born January 22, 1911November 27, 1962 ) was an American photographer, actress and dancer.

Life

Florence Meyer was the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Agnes and Eugene Meyer. She completed her education at Bryn Mawr and Radcliffe and stood at the age of 16 years for the first time on stage. At that time she played an angel in the Everyman in Salzburg, where she was trained with Harald Kreutzberg in dancing. In 1937 she was seen in Reinhardt 's production of The Eternal Road; however, it was. known as a photographer as an actress and dancer She created numerous portraits of famous personalities.
