Florent Joseph Marie Willems

Florent Willems ( born January 8, 1823 in Liege, † October 1905 Paris - Neuilly ) was a painter.

Life

Willems studied at the Academy in Mechelen, but formed mostly by old Dutch masters, especially after Gerard ter Borch, Caspar Netscher, Gabriel Metsu, etc., to a genre painter, of which the main emphasis on the elegance of the painterly representation and the careful reproduction substances, especially the white satin robes, put.
