Florian Gothe

Florian Gothe ( born August 9, 1962 in Bochum ) is a former German football player and current president of the Association of Contract football players ( VDV).

Gothe, which began at the post SV Bochum playing football at the age of eight years, played in the Bundesliga and 2nd Bundesliga in the 1983 to 1991 a total of 196 games in which he scored 16 goals.

1999, the former professional VfL Bochum was elected to succeed Jürgen saving water as President of the VDV. Under his leadership, the organization was led out of an existential crisis at that time. In the re-election in 2006, he was unanimously confirmed in his office.

Gothenburg held its last public appearance, when he spoke out in connection with the suicide of German football goalkeeper Robert Enke for greater support of football players in coping with personal psychological problems.
