Florian Hörnig

Florian Hörnig ( born August 6, 1986 in Munich) is a German professional footballer and plays since July 2013 for SC Fortuna Köln.

Life

Hörnig, which is mostly used as a defender, played in his youth from 1994 to 2000 at SV Am Hart, followed by a season at TSV Milbertshofen - both clubs from the north of Munich - before he moved to the youth of the SpVgg Unterhaching in 2001. Here he went through the youth teams and was then taken to the squad of the second team in the Bavarian League.

In the season 2005/ 06 he came in the DFB Cup match against Arminia Bielefeld for his first competitive match commitment to the professional team. His first second league game he played 19 February 2006 against FC Erzgebirge Aue.
