Flyball

Flyball is a dog sport that is about 1990 from America to England and then came to Central Europe.

When Flyball four hurdles that are placed in a row, and a Flyballmaschine be used. The dog is trying as quickly as possible over the hurdles to Flyballmaschine to get to press the shutter button to catch the ball and get to the finish with the ball back over the hurdles.

Each four teams from dog and handler are a team, two teams play against each other. Due to the rapidity of this competition this sport is ideal for spectators.

The first German championship in this sport took place in Hungen on 20 and 21 September 2008. 33 teams from all over Germany were doing in six divisions. The title of the team " 16 Paws of Power " brought from Hungen and also broke the German record with a time of 17.59 seconds.

In May 2013, the General Assembly of the FCI approved the establishment of a Commission for Flyball.
