Flybanger
Flybanger was a Canadian metal band that was recently at the major label Columbia Records. The band's debut album was released in 2000 at Gotham Records.
History
Flybanger was founded in 1995 under the name Jar. The band consisted of Garth Allen ( vocals), Rob Wade ( drums), Tom MacDonald (bass) and Brian Fratesi ( guitar).
Their first album Knott Skull was taken with great interest from several labels. The band opted for Gotham Records, where in 2000 the band released their EP outlived produced.
Just a year later a signature followed by Columbia Records, where the band recorded their second album, Head Trip to Nowhere produced and published in 2001.
In 2005, the band was dissolved. Wad and Garth are working together on a new project that is called Thick Of It.
The band has already toured with the likes of the metal scene such as filters, Machine Head and Orange 9MM.
