Foguang Temple

The Foguang Temple (Chinese佛光 寺, Pinyin Foguang si) is a Buddhist temple in the village Foguangxincun the circle Wutai in Shanxi Province, China. It was first built in the time of the Northern Wei Dynasty. Its main hall dates from the year 857 the Tang Dynasty. She is considered one of the oldest wooden structures in the Chinese temple.

The temple stands since 1961 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 1-80 ).
