Folk Nation

The Folk Nation ( also referred to as folk or Folks ) is an alliance of various American street gangs, which are originally from the Chicagoland area. The organization has spread later in the United States, especially in the West and the Middle South. Your opponents have formed a People Nation.

Composition

The Folk Nation is composed of different gangs, which all have their own color and character as well as organization. Many of these gangs have signed a charter to join the alliance. The largest single transition within the alliance are the Gangster Disciples.

Foundation

The Folk Nation was founded on November 11, 1978 within the limits of the Illinois Department of Corrections. The chairman of the Gangster Disciples, Larry Hoover, had originally the idea for this alliance and many leaders of large gangs of Chicago - White, Black and Hispanic as - joined him quickly. Shortly afterwards the People Nation by opponents of the Allies was launched.

Symbols
