Fontanil-Cornillon

Fontanil -Cornillon is a commune with 2805 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Isère, in the Rhône -Alpes; it belongs to the administrative district in the canton of Grenoble and Saint- Égrève.

Geography

The municipality is located north- west of Grenoble, at the foot of the Chartreuse massif. It is drained by the river Isère.
