Forest Hills, Queens

Forest Hills is one of Queens, a borough of New York. Forest Hills is bordered on the north by Rego Park, to the east by Flushing Meadows Corona Park, and to the south by Forest Park. It is located near the New York JFK International and LaGuardia.

From 1914 to 1977, the American championships were held in Forest Hills Tennis, first on grass, and later on hard court. Forest Hills used to be a synonym for the U.S. Open, as is Wimbledon Tennis Championships for the English. In 1978, the U.S. Open was moved to Flushing Meadows.
