Forgotten Tales is a Canadian power metal band from Quebec.

History

Forgotten Tales was founded in October 1999 in Quebec. The band was the result of a musical project by Rene Pineault. First, they coverte European power metal songs and there were very few bands with this kind of music in Canada, they had many concertgoers. A year later she played as the opening act for Nightwish at two concerts in Montreal. This motivated the band wanted to produce an album of his own songs. In April 2001, started the studio recordings and was released in October, the first album The Promise. Again, appearances as an opening act for bands like Edguy and Gamma Ray before they recorded their second album, released in August 2004 under the name All the Sinners. In 2006, she played with Sonata Arctica some shows again in Canada, followed in 2007 by an appearance on the " Quebec 's Summer Festival ", which also Hammerfall occurred.
