The Foss Lake ( officially Foss Reservoir ) is a reservoir in Custer County, Oklahoma, USA. It is located 24 km west of Clinton and 10 km north from Foss Foss State Park.

The lake was created between the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation as Washita Washita River Basin Project on the regulation of the river and the water supply of Bessie, Clinton, Cordell and Hobart in 1958 and 1961. Because of the very hard and murky water a plant electrodialysis plant was built for water supply.

With a capacity of 436.812 acre -feet and a water surface of 3600 hectares of Foss Lake is the largest state waters Westoklahomas. The shoreline length is 101 km. The storage is provided by a 5,530 m long dam with a height of 43 m and a width of 12 m.

When testing a new sonar equipment were located two car wrecks by members of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol on the bottom of the lake in September 2013. The recovery of the two Chevrolet, a sedan from the early 1950s and a Camaro (built in 1969), six human skeletons were found in it, which are brought in connection with two unsolved missing persons cases from the years 1969 and 1970.
