Four Hundred Years

Four Hundred Years was a short period in the late 1990s existing emocore band from Richmond, Virginia / USA.

History

The band influenced - in spite of its short existence - the sound and style of the Emos very strongly with. The group is one of the typical later Emobands and is musically and geographically because of the proximity to the capital of the United States, often the Washingthon DC Hardcore Punk attributed.

Originally the band was formed in Arizona. But the band members moved to Virginia to go to school there. The band had left a political claim, she sought to connect with their emotional lyrics.

The band was constantly on the move and completed several tours in the U.S. but also in Europe and Japan.

After the dissolution of the band, former members of other bands playing.

Style

Their style is characterized by emotional songs and geschriene parts of the text, quieter and quieter and explosive, brutal parts. The style is based on straighterem mid-tempo D.C. Hardcore punk. Her style is considered to be typical of the emotional hardcore.
