Four-point play

The 4- point play (English four -point play) is a play situation in basketball.

If a player is fouled on a roll behind the three point line and throw strikes, he then wins a free throw. Can he make it, he scored a total of 4 points and thus a 4- point play. This is the highest score that can achieve a team with a possession. A 4- point play in basketball is rare, since a foul on a roll attempt behind the three- point line normally prevents a successful threesome.
