James Andrew Jones ( born October 14, 1980 in Miami, Florida ) is an American professional basketball player who is currently with the Miami Heat under contract. The player who is usually only called James Jones is well known for his good distance throw. He wears the number 22
Career
Indiana Pacers
Jones was drafted in the NBA Draft 2003, 49 out of the Indiana Pacers, where he remained two years. In his first season there, he played a total of only 26 minutes in his second season but almost every game.
Phoenix Suns
Jones was traded for a 2008 second- round pick to Phoenix. For the Phoenix Suns, he also played two years. His first there was successful for him, he put on statistics, of which he has not yet broken many today, in the second he left for something that had for a second- round pick but not bad numbers on.
Portland Trail Blazers
He was traded for Rudy Fernandez and money to Portland, where he played one season basketball. He placed among other things, a good cut of 8.0 points.
Miami Heat
