Fourie du Preez

Petrus Fourie du Preez ( born March 24, 1982 in Pretoria) is a South African rugby union player who plays as a scrum half for the South African national team, in the Currie Cup for the Blue Bulls and the Super 14 for the Bulls. It was founded in 2007 with the " Springboks " world champion.

Career

Du Preez was 2001, his debut as a professional in the Currie Cup in 2003 he ran for the first time in the Super 12 (now Super 14). His international debut came in 2004 against Ireland. The first attempt for South Africa, he appealed against New Zealand in the Tri Nations in the same year in which the " Springboks " for the second time winners of this tournament were. Since his debut he undisputedly belongs to the root of the squad, was world champion in 2007 and was part of the team that could win against all the British teams in November 2008. In 2009 he was part of the squad in South Africa to tour the British and Irish Lions. The Springboks won the series 2-1 and also secured the third title in the Tri Nations in the same year.

His father of the same name was also a national team of South Africa.
