Foxit Reader is a free Windows software for viewing PDF files, and thus an alternative to the ubiquitous Adobe Reader. For smartphones and tablet computers with the operating system Android or iOS has its own version under the name Foxit Mobile PDF.
Was developed by the program, based in the U.S. state of California company Foxit Corporation. A greater awareness of it reached especially after the release of version 6 of Adobe Reader, which has been criticized by many users because of the long load times hardly required plug-ins. Properties
Foxit Reader runs on Windows XP or later, up to version 4.x and from Windows 2000. Up to version 1.1 of 2009, there were also a Linux variant. The last to Windows 98 compatible version was 2.0.
