Frameworx
New Generation Operations Systems and Software ( NGOSS ) is a standard published by the TeleManagement Forum, the development and the use of operational support systems - make them more flexible and easier by defining a general framework for business processes ( engl. Operations Support System OSS).
In order to achieve the goal of an easy -to-use OSS, NGOSS provides a collection of information, which is a uniform collection of tools for business processes and technical developments as well as a description of their use. This will simultaneously reducing costs and improving customer satisfaction guaranteed.
In different segments of different sub-goals, each with different approaches are applied:
- Automation of business processes with the enhanced Telecom Operations Map ( eTOM )
- Generic information and data model through the Shared Information & Data Model ( SID)
- Solution Design by Contract Interface and Technology Neutral Architecture ( TNA)
- Conformance Testing by NGOSS compliance tests
- Procurement & Implementation in the ROI model
In May 2010, NGOSS was to some concepts ( see document TMF GB945 -M) extended and renamed in Frameworx.
