France Galop

France Galop is organizing a French organization, the horse races ( flat races as steeplechase ). It was created May 3, 1995 by the merger of Société d' Encouragement three organizations et des Steeple Chase de France, Société de Sports de France and Société Sportive d' Encouragement. It acts as the parent organization of the racetracks and promotes the breeding of race horses in France.

The organization, which reports to the French Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Interior, operates six racetracks in Saint-Cloud, Maisons- Laffitte, Deauville, Chantilly, Paris ( Longchamp Racecourse ) and in the Bois de Boulogne.

Centers of horse breeding located in Chantilly ( 2636 horses at 1,900 hectares), Maisons- Laffitte (810 horses, 120 acres ) and Deauville ( 310 horses).
