Francesco De Bonis

Francesco De Bonis ( born April 14, 1982 in Isola del Liri ) is an Italian racing cyclist.

Cycling career

Francesco De Bonis 2003 was runner up in the Trofeo Internazionale Bastianelli. In 2006 he finished second in the Grand Premio Capodarco. The following year Francesco de Bonis the Gran Premio Folignano won and was a day later at the Giro del Cigno Ciclistico seventh. The next weekend he could be the Trofeo Internazionale Bastianelli decide for themselves. In 2008 he drove the German ProTour team Gerolsteiner, 2009 he is at Serramenti PVC Diquigiovanni under contract.

Doping

On 17 June 2009, the UCI announced that Francesco De Bonis against and four other drivers due to abnormalities in their blood profiles doping procedures were initiated. The irregularities were observed due to the blood passport was introduced in 2008. He was banned for two years.
