Francesco Tullio Altan
Altan ( born September 30, 1942 in Treviso, Francesco Tullio Altan actually ) is an Italian comic book artist.
He began to study architecture, but broke this off. Instead, he turned to the cinema as a copywriter. In 1970 he moved to Brazil for four years, where he published his first comics in a local newspaper. Was founded in 1974 Pimpa Il Corriere dei for the magazine Piccoli, the weekly children's supplement of Corriere della Sera. The experiences of the red -spotted bitch Pimpa have been reprinted in numerous, small-format volumes and filmed as an animated series. For the magazine Linus Altan created during its satirical comics for adults as Cipputti or Ada. 1988 his album Ada was filmed in the jungle. He was also active as a political cartoonist.
He is the son of the anthropologist Carlo Tullio - Altan ( 1916-2005 ).
